The Lohana Community of Kampala organizes Cultural, Charitable, Educational, Social Events and among others throughout the year. These Events celebrate our heritage, build connections among members, and make a positive impact across the wider community.

The Lohana Sports and Cultural Festival (37th LSCFEA) – 2024
The 37th LSCFEA held from 25th to 28th December 2024 in Kampala brought together the Lohana family from across East Africa for four days of spirited sports competitions, captivating cultural showcases, and unforgettable moments of camaraderie and fellowship.
The Lohana International Business Forum – Africa Calling! (LIBF) – 2023
A landmark convergence of Lohana entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and strategic thinkers from across the globe. LIBF fostered high-level dialogue, investment opportunities, and cross-sector partnerships, elevating Kampala as a thriving hub for international business.
Lohana Navratri Mahotsav 2025
A radiant celebration of devotion, dance, and togetherness drawing over 1,000 devotees each day across nine auspicious nights of spirited Garba, Dandiya, and traditional rituals. The Sharad Purnima Competition drew more than 20 group participants, open to all communities.
Lohana Diwali Chopda Poojan 2025
A deeply revered occasion marking the auspicious commencement of new ventures through devotion and divine grace. Families gather amidst glowing diyas and resounding chants to seek blessings for success, concluding with a warm community dinner.
Lohana Diwali Dinner Gala 2025
A resplendent evening blending festivity with recognition, honouring outstanding achievers of the year. The night comes alive with music, dance, exquisite cuisine, and camaraderie — a true celebration of togetherness and shared pride.
The Lohana Mahila Mandal stands as a formidable and graceful force within the Lohana Community of Kampala. Guided by precision, dedication, and heart, they advance women's empowerment, champion community welfare, and preserve our rich cultural heritage.
Mataji na Samuh Lota
Held on 27th July 2025 under the guidance of Mrs. Jyotsna Ruparelia, this historic gathering witnessed 850 attendees and 74 Mataji na Lota registered by Lohana families — a magnificent display of devotion and unity.
Jalaram Jayanti
Honouring the life of Jalaram Bapa, this celebration featured a remarkable Annkut Darshan with over 100 food varieties and brought together more than 400 devotees. Open to all communities.
Diwali Rangoli & Drawing Competition
Over 70 participants showcased their talents in intricate Rangoli artistry and children's drawing competitions. A vibrant blend of festive spirit and artistic expression, open to all communities.
